Society should rethink the ways we cope with grief | Opinion

As I sat in the stillness of my once vibrant home, still trying to absorb my new reality, my phone chimed with an urgent message from a coworker: get outside to see the northern lights. I rushed to the front yard, where the sky was alive with swirling pinks and purples. Social media lit up with photos, and at least a little while we were all connected, a community contemplating the wonder of nature together.
