ANTIQUE ART DECO EARLY MODERNIST CATALINA ISLAND ART POTTERY IVORY LOW BOWL #703

Description

Fine original Catalina Island large low bowl in their lovely soft satin Ivory glaze.
This early modernist art deco bowl measures 15" long by 10 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" high.
The big oval form is accented with 8 vertical V forms around the circumference.
It is marked to base: CATALINA ISLAND  703.
This art pottery piece has been well kept and is in very good antique condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no repair, virtually no scratches, etc. The last photo is of a tiny scuff at the base of one of the eight points. It is so shallow that I can't tell if it is a scuff or a tiny factory glaze imperfection.
There are a few light, almost invisible grayish metal marks on the interior and exterior. However, this Catalina  form in this light glaze doesn't come along very often much cleaner than this piece. Almost perfect.
