KOOL JAZZ FESTIVAL 1983 - SAINT LOUIS, MO
, Large Playbill type program, 06/03/83 - 06/11/83.  48 pages + a one-fold insert.  The Kool Jazz Festival grew out of what was once the Newport Jazz Festival that began in 1954.  The 1983 festival took place in 22 American Cities.  This is the standard program but contains the Saint Louis participating artists insert.  These include The Leonard Klinger Septet featuring Randall Holmes, Paul Bemaarinis, Joan Vouise, Kim Portnoy, Jim Mayer, Kevin Glanio and Leonard Klinger; St. Louis Jazz All Stars featuring David Hines, Freddie Washington, Steve Kirby, Calvin Bell, Keith Fiddemont and specia guest Vince Martin; Miles Davis & His Group; The VSOP II Quintet with Herbie Hancock; Spyro Gyra, David Sanborn; Modern Jazz Quartet; Trio Music with Chic Corea, Roy Haynes & Miroslav Vitous; Lionel Hampton & His Orchestra; Carmen McRae & Her Trio; Festival All-Stars: Freddie Hubbard, Lew Tabackin, Cecil McBee, Joanne Brackeen and Billy Hart; Herbie Mann and The Family Of Mann; Flora Purium with Airto, St. Louis Jazz All-Stars, Galaxy; Mel Torme, Natalie Cole and Woody Herman & His Young Thundering Herd.  The program is complete.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
